In early summer, 3CX Company introduced a new version of its PBX 3CX Phone System v15.5. In 3CX 15.5, a Web client built using the Angular technology appeared, which allows you to manage 3CX clients and supported IP telephones from a single, extensible interface. The new client works in any open browser and does not require installation manually.
Among the improvements in 3CX V15.5, we can distinguish the following:
A new web client supports the instant creation of video conferencing. Now you do not need to install plug-ins, applications, just press one button and invite participants by e-mail or just “dropping” the link to the connection. The invited participants are connected through a browser, in which the video conferencing client interface is formed.
Managing Calls on the Phone (CTI)
Thanks to the use of Augusta technology, the quality of management of telephone sets through the desktop client have been improved. This improvement concerns both “cloud” and local IP-PBX. In addition, now you can remotely control 3CX smartphone clients. This is convenient for remote employees.
The new Click 2 Call extension for Chrome allows you to dial a number in one click from CRM systems or from any browser page.
